How can i make The Sims downloaded PJs (pajamas) to work when they sleep?
i downloaded PJs and placed it in the Skins folder but it doesn’t work when they sleep.
for the The Sims (the original version)
The answer depends on whether you have The Sims or The Sims 2 (often, people who have TS2 don’t specify that), as well as which expansion pack(s) you have.
If you have The Sims (not The Sims 2), but not Hot Date (or a higher EP), you can use Sim Wardrobe, from Paladin’s Place:

Sim Wardrobe allows you to assign regular, pj’s, and swimwear fashions. If you have Hot Date or higher, you’ll need to change the name of the bmp. Since I don’t know if the pj’s in question use a mesh that comes with the game, you’re probably better off getting the renaming info from the site where you downloaded the files.
However, if you know that you already have pj’s of the same style in the game, you can change the name of the bmp files.
For instance, if the file name is:
B100FAFitDrk_Pajama.bmp
Change the “B” to “L,”
(i.e. B100 to L100),
so the new bmp name is:
L100FAFitDrk_Pajama.bmp
B = Regular
L = Lingerie
The important thing to keep in mind is that you must have a corresponding cmx and skn file in order for this to work. If you name them incorrectly, they’ll look really weird in the game.
