Fabrics and clothes, folded or hung?
I’ve been looking around Yahoo! Answers and everyone seems to have different opinions on this subject. I’d really like to know what types of fabrics should be hung, and which types should be folded, or does the fabric not really matter? What types of clothes (t-shirts, dress clothes, camisoles, jeans, pants… etc.) should hang in the closet, and which types should be folded, or is it all really a matter of preference?
What I’d like to be most aware of is which shirts I should fold so they don’t stretch out badly, and which ones I should hang so they don’t wrinkle too badly.
I would fold the knits so the shoulder does not get stretched. Hang anything that needs ironing or is heavy like a coat. It also depends on where you have space. I’ve seen people hang tee shirts and I never would. Jeans can be folded. Other slacks that aren’t knit should be hung.
Do a bit of trial and error and you will fund what works for you this is just my idea. .Good luck
